[For Group Leaders:

1.         SERMON RECAP

(Visit  pmc.org.sg  to listen to the sermon and download a copy of the Powerpoint slides)

Do you have friends in the Gospel?

This week:

·         Remember a friend you have in the Lord

·         Take time to thank God for him/her

·         Contact this person, if you have lost touch

·         Time to reconcile?

·         Make a new friend in the Lord!

2.         LIVE IT OUT

a.       Consider the 5 possible actions under Sermon Recap.  Which one would be most immediately applicable for you?  Share with your group and pray towards the application.

b.      What are three important things you feel a friend in the Gospel should do for you?

–

–

–

Prayerfully, as led by the Lord, do likewise for a friend of yours.

c.       Beyond the church, it is important for us to establish and develop friends in the Gospel from our workplace, local community and elsewhere.   Together, we can then join hands to play a part to build God's kingdom wherever He has placed us.

> Do you have such friends outside of the church?

> If not, what can you do to build such a friendship?

3.         PRAY

Please refer to the PMC Mobile App, “MyPMC”, for our weekly prayer guide.  [Click on “PRAY”, then “Let’s Pray”]

4.         GOING DEEPER

Jesus says:

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.  You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.  No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.   (John 15:13-15)

How does our friendship with God affect our friendship with others, and vice-versa?  Share your thoughts and discuss.
