Text: Romans 15:22-33

Title: Partners in the Gospel

Preacher: Mr Raymond Low

Series: Justified by Faith

[For Group Leaders:

- The following serves only as a guide.  Please feel free to edit and adapt.

- You are strongly encouraged to allow members to share using the POP Journal (4Rs) at the beginning of your group time.  This would deepen your fellowship and enrich everyone in the Word.

1.         SERMON RECAP

(Visit  pmc.org.sg  to listen to the sermon and download a copy of the Powerpoint slides)

a.       The task to share the Good News is upon all Christians.

b.      We do this in partnership with the Holy Spirit and fellow believers.

c.       As partners of the Gospel with God's people, we are called to send, fellowship, pray, and encourage.

2.         LIVE IT OUT

a.       Not all are called to be missionaries, but all are called to be involved in God's mission to make disciples and bring the Gospel to all nations!

> Do you agree with the above statement?

> List down any activity you were involved in the last 6 months as part of being involved in God's world mission.

> What would your LG consider doing together for a longer and sustainable involvement in God's mission to all nations?

(If you need help, contact our missions staff Mr Daniel Lim at daniellim@pmc.org.sg)

b.      The speaker listed four aspects of partnership in the Gospel:

- The call to send

- The call to fellowship

- The call to pray

- The call to encourage

Which of these do you feel are lacking in PMC?  How can we as individuals or as a group, contribute in this partnership with the Lord?

> Make some plans to actually do it!

3.         PRAY

Please refer to the PMC Mobile App, “MyPMC”, for our weekly prayer guide.  [Click on “PRAY”, then “Let’s Pray”]

4.         GOING DEEPER

a.       What can we learn from Paul about the right attitude to the financial support of fellow believers and evangelistic missions?

> Paul’s very direct way of asking for money would raise some eyebrows in today’s churches.  Share and discuss your views on this.
