1.         SERMON RECAP

(Visit  pmc.org.sg  to listen to the sermon and download a copy of the Powerpoint slides)

THE CALL OF GOD IS…

a.       A CALL TO FELLOWSHIP REGULARLY WITH GOD.

“He brings me to the banquet hall; his banner over me is love.” Song of Solomon 2:4

b.      A CALL TO BE FORGED IN MIND & CHARACTER.

c.       A CALL TO FULFIL GOD-GIVEN TASKS.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

“For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

2.         LIVE IT OUT

a.       Read Mark 3:13-19 together.

b.      We are called foremost to spend time with God, and to enjoy intimacy with Him.  What tends to distract us from spending time with God?  What can we do to overcome these distractions?

c.       When was the last time you felt God allowed a difficult situation in your life to shape your mindset and character?

d.      Looking at your passion, opportunities and wiring, what do you think God might be calling you to do in this season of your life?

e.       This year, how can you use the opportunities in your Life Group to apply your gifts and passion to bless other people for Christ?

f.        In smaller groups, pray for one another on any specific step/s you might want to take in response to the sermon.
